Summer Screenings & Wins

WIFFLE-BALL FUNDRAISER

Fun Filled Success in the Los Angeles Sunshine.

On a beautiful weekend in June, filmmakers, friends, and furry pals came together in support of independent filmmaking. With the rising cost of TENANTS OF CARVER HILL’s post-production as the motivator, FDP launched a wiffle-ball game fundraiser and filmmaker mixer.

Sending out a huge thanks to all the Ballers and additional contributors for helping us raise a total of $6,000 toward finishing funds!

What’s next for

TENANTS OF CARVER HILL?

I am so very pleased to share that we are officially picture locked on the edit. That means no more changes to the overall sequence. This brings us one massive step closer to completion.

The tremendous time spent with Editor Brian Ufberg shaping the story, pacing,  and overall look was at times wildly humbling and at it’s best, extraordinarily gratifying. I am so proud of the work. Big shout out to my previous collaborator and TOCH’s newest Producer, Chris Chandler who came on board with a fresh set of eyes and dedication to helping with final pass notes and polishing work.

Our team has expanded, welcoming VFX Producer/Post-Producer Kymberly Murphy, guiding the film into its next phase of visual effects and color grading. I am also thrilled to be working with the folks at The Sound Department for all our Sound Design and Re-Recording Mix needs!

Thank you for taking time out of your day to read this newsletter. Supporting truly independently made film is a real super hero move. It truly takes a village to make a movie and without dedicated film lovers - it would be art unseen.

For anyone interested in contributing to our Tenants Of Carver Hill finishing funds, you can do so at the links below.  Sending my love and gratitude - Hollis

Stay creative. Stay inspired. And go to the movie theater!!!!!
