NEW KEY ART
I am excited to share our key art designed by Nicole Ellingson. With film and fine art as her background, Nicole began her design career with her first key art assignment being CATWOMAN starring Halle Berry. As her career grew, her work expanded across multiple brands and ad agencies. Nicole is currently the VP Group Creative Director of Quigley-Simpson, the largest woman-owned advertising agency in North America. She leads creative campaigns for Chase Bank and Marriott, which sends her to travel the globe as both the director and leader of the creative charge.
NEW WEBSITE
Check out our film website! Our new online landing pad includes bios of the lead cast, behind-the-scenes images, and it will be our hub for how to view the film as well as media updates.
LET THE EDITING BEGIN
Welcome Brian Ufberg to the team. With over thirty years of editing under his belt, Brian has worked alongside some of the industry’s top filmmakers, including Alejandro Gonzálas Innuritu, Stephen Soderburgh, and David Fincher. His provocative editing work on Osgood Perkins’ horror films, THE BLACKCOAT’S DAUGHTER (A24) premiered at TIFF, as did I AM THE PRETTY THING THAT LIVES IN THE HOUSE (Netflix). Additional credits include THE PRODIGY (MGM Orion) and multi-award-winning festival favorite, the dark-comedy, FUNNY STORY, which won him a Best Editing award. Brian’s most recent work can be seen in Netflix’s phycological thriller, HYPNOTIC.
Choosing the right editor is a crucial step in crafting a cohesive and successful film. A movie is shaped in three phases: the script, on set, and during the editing process. An effective editor must intimately understand both the story and the filmmaker’s vision, enhancing the narrative through careful attention to pacing, tone, and rhythm in the cuts and transitions. With Brian's extensive experience and unique creative perspective, this collaborative relationship promises to be a recipe for success.

Our social justice short film is now complete.

LOG LINE: Orphaned by fire, Mia lives with her aunt in a rural desert-scape by the Mexican American border. When she finds an immigrant mother and daughter hiding in her shed, she is jolted out of grief and into action.
